A fixed gear bicycle is a bike with a cog that doesn't have a freewheel mechanism meaning as long as the back wheel is moving, the pedals are moving. Although traditionally used strictly on a velodrome track, more and more riders are choosing these brakeless bikes for use on the road. They have a unique style of riding through traffic that I've tried to capture in this body of work.
